Grinding Wheels

Depressed-centre grinding wheels (Type 27), flat grinding wheels, cup wheels and straight cup wheels for angle grinders, suited to steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and stone. Grain types include aluminium oxide (A), zirconia alumina (ZA), silicon carbide (SiC) and ceramic, with grit sizes from 16 (coarse) to 120 (fine). All are EN 12413 certified, with max RPM and safety ratings marked.

Cutting Discs

Thin cutting discs (slitting discs / slitting wheels) in 1.0mm, 1.6mm and 2.0mm thicknesses for angle grinders, for cutting steel, stainless steel (inox), cast iron, aluminium and stone, in 115mm, 125mm and 230mm diameters. Ultra-thin 0.8mm and 1.0mm discs give precision cuts with minimal kerf loss. All are oSa and EN 12413 certified.

Flap Discs & Fibre Discs

Flap discs (flap wheels) for angle grinders in T27 (flat) and T29 (conical) form. Zirconia alumina flap discs handle steel and structural work, ceramic grain flap discs give high stock removal, and aluminium oxide flap discs cover general metal. Fibre discs (resin fibre discs / vulcanised fibre discs) are available for backing pad use, with grit ranges from P24 to P120.

Sanding Sheets, Rolls & Discs

Sanding sheets (sandpaper) and abrasive rolls for hand sanding and orbital sander use, in aluminium oxide, silicon carbide and zirconia grain, grit P40 to P400, including wet-and-dry (waterproof) silicon carbide paper. Sanding discs for random orbital sanders come in hook-and-loop and self-adhesive forms, with Mirka ABRANET mesh discs for dust-free sanding and emery cloth for metalwork.

Diamond Blades & Core Drills

Diamond cutting blades for angle grinders and disc cutters in segmented (for concrete, brick, block), turbo (general purpose), continuous rim (tiles and ceramics) and laser-welded forms. We also stock diamond core drill bits (core cutters) for SDS rotary hammers and core drilling machines, with dry and wet cutting options. Marcrist, Mexco and MK Morse are stocked for specialist applications.

Wire Brushes & Wire Wheels

Wire cup brushes and wire wheel brushes for angle grinders, in crimped wire (a softer action) and knotted wire (more aggressive) types. Steel wire suits rust and scale removal, stainless steel wire avoids contaminating stainless workpieces, and brass wire is used on non-ferrous metals. For industrial wire brushes, Lessmann is the specialist supplier.

Surface Conditioning & Finishing

Non-woven abrasive (surface conditioning) products, the industrial equivalent of Scotch-Brite, used for blending welds, removing mill scale, preparing surfaces before painting and adding decorative finishes. We stock Pferd POLINOX and Pferd COMBICLICK surface conditioning discs and flap wheels, plus Mirka Mirlon for finer finishing work, in very fine, fine, medium and coarse grades.

Carbide Burrs & Die Grinding

Solid carbide rotary burrs (die grinder bits / carbide die grinder bits) in a full range of profiles, including cylindrical, ball-nose, oval, cone, tree and flame shapes, for deburring, chamfering, porting and blending in steel, cast iron, aluminium and composites. They suit die grinders, flexible shaft machines and rotary tools. ATA Garryson and Pferd are the leading suppliers.
