What We Can Supply

If you work in the electrical industry, we can supply insulated tools, test equipment and PPE from the brands that electricians and electrical engineers actually rely on. From a full van stock of VDE-rated hand tools to a specific test instrument or a set of arc flash PPE, we’d be happy to help. If you’re not sure which product best suits your application, just ask. We’re always happy to talk it through.

VDE insulated hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, cable cutters, crimping tools and spanners, individually tested to 1000V AC and rated to VDE 0682 and IEC 60900. KNIPEX, Wiha, Wera, CK Tools and Bahco. VDE rating is a live-working requirement for contractors working to BS 7671. We only supply genuine VDE-rated tools, not lookalikes.

Cable tools including cable strippers, armoured cable cutters, cable knife sets, conduit tools, draw tapes and fish rods. CK Tools and KNIPEX lead the way here. If you’re regularly stripping SWA or working with large cross-sections, having the right tool for the job makes a real difference to speed and finish.

Test and measurement including multifunction installation testers, loop impedance testers, RCD testers, insulation resistance testers, clamp meters and PAT testers. Fluke, Megger, Kewtech and Martindale Electric. All compliant with GN3 and relevant IET guidance where applicable. We can advise on which tester meets the requirements for BS 7671 18th Edition testing if you’re not sure.

Arc flash and high-voltage PPE including arc flash suits, face shields and balaclava hoods rated to EN 61482-2, insulating gloves and overshoes rated to IEC 60903, and leather protectors. Honeywell Salisbury and Ansell. For HV work, PPE selection depends on the incident energy level. Please mention the system voltage and fault level if you need advice.

General electrician PPE including safety glasses, safety boots, gloves and knee pads for everyday electrical installation work. Portwest, Uvex, JSP and 3M. We can supply branded workwear for contractor teams if required.

Fixings and cable management including cable clips, conduit saddles, cable ties, cable tie guns and identification products. HellermannTyton for cable management; Fischer and Rawlplug for structural fixings. HellermannTyton produce some of the best cable management products available and the quality difference over budget alternatives is very noticeable.

Lighting and site safety including LED inspection lamps, head torches and task lighting for working in confined spaces, loft spaces and poorly lit environments. LED Lenser, Petzl and Scangrip. If you’re working in a confined space, please also ask us about gas detection. We can supply portable monitors for lone working.
