We supply precision measuring instruments, sometimes called metrology instruments, inspection instruments, gauging equipment or dimensional measurement tools, along with electrical test and measurement equipment. Our customers include manufacturers, quality departments, aerospace MRO facilities, engineering workshops, rail maintenance teams and test laboratories across the UK and internationally.
For dimensional measurement, Mitutoyo and Starrett are our primary suppliers. For torque calibration we work mainly with Norbar and Tohnichi, and for electrical test we supply Fluke, Megger, Kewtech and Kyoritsu. Every instrument can come with calibration certificates traceable to national standards (UKAS) on request, so do let us know if you need them when you enquire.

What We Supply
Micrometers
Outside micrometers (OD micrometers), inside micrometers (ID micrometers / bore micrometers), depth micrometers, thread micrometers and bench micrometers, in digital, vernier and thimble types, metric and inch. Ranges run from 0–25mm through to 300mm and above, including IP65 coolant-resistant digital micrometers for workshop use. Mitutoyo and Starrett are the benchmark brands.
Vernier & Digital Calipers
Digital vernier calipers, dial calipers and vernier calipers (also known as vernier gauges or slide gauges) for OD, ID, depth and step measurements, in stainless steel and carbon fibre. IP67 waterproof digital calipers suit coolant environments, and long-jaw, blade-jaw and point-jaw types cover special applications. Available in 150mm to 1000mm ranges.
Bore Gauges & Internal Measuring
Bore gauges (cylinder gauges, internal measuring gauges), telescoping gauges (small bore gauges / T-gauges), ball end bore gauges and three-point bore micrometers for precise internal diameter measurement. These are commonly used in engine rebuilds, hydraulic cylinder inspection and precision machining quality control.
Dial Indicators & DTIs
Dial test indicators (DTIs), plunger dial gauges and lever-type dial test indicators for runout measurement, surface flatness, concentricity and alignment. Magnetic stands, articulating arms and universal holders are available, with 0.001mm and 0.01mm graduations. Mitutoyo dial gauges are widely specified in aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
Torque Wrenches & Calibration
Calibrated torque wrenches traceable to BS EN ISO 6789, in click-type, electronic, dial and cam-over forms, plus torque multipliers for high-torque bolting. UKAS-traceable calibration certificates are available on request. These tools are used in aerospace, automotive, rail, nuclear and defence for critical bolted joint applications. Norbar, Tohnichi and Stahlwille are the primary suppliers.
Electrical Test Equipment
Multimeters (digital multimeters / DMMs), insulation resistance testers (meggers / insulation testers), loop impedance testers, RCD testers, PAT testing equipment (portable appliance testers), clamp meters (clamp ammeters), earth resistance testers, power quality analysers and thermal imaging cameras. We stock Fluke, Megger, Kewtech and Kyoritsu.
Height Gauges & Surface Finish
Digital height gauges and vernier height gauges for precise vertical measurement on surface plates, plus surface roughness testers (profilometers / surface finish meters / Ra meters) for measuring surface finish to Ra, Rz and Rq parameters. These are mainstays of quality control and machine shop inspection. Mitutoyo is the leading supplier.
Levels, Squares & Alignment
Precision spirit levels (bubble levels), digital angle finders, box levels, precision engineers squares and surface plates. Stabila aluminium box levels are widely specified on construction sites, and Hultafors measuring tools suit carpentry and joinery. Electronic digital levels and inclinometers cover plant and machinery alignment.
