Products We Can Supply from Moore & Wright

Vernier and digital calipers. Moore & Wright digital calipers come in 150 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm measuring ranges with 0.01 mm resolution and an LCD display, alongside vernier calipers reading to 0.02 mm to BS887 for reference and checking where battery dependency is unwelcome, and digital depth gauges and height gauges. The MW150-01 150 mm digital caliper is the most widely used Moore & Wright product in UK engineering training and general workshop use.

Outside and inside micrometers. Moore & Wright outside micrometers come in 0–25 mm, 25–50 mm and larger ranges in both vernier and digital configurations, with inside micrometers for bore and slot measurement and digital depth micrometers. They are made to BS870 with the measurement face flatness and anvil parallelism precision measurement calls for, and are supplied with calibration certificates traceable to national standards.

Dial test indicators and dial gauges. Moore & Wright lever-type dial test indicators (0.01 mm and 0.001 mm resolution) handle machine tool setup, component alignment and inspection, while plunger-type dial gauges in a 0–10 mm travel range cover surface plate and CMM fixturing work. We can also supply magnetic stands and indicator holders for setting up indicators on machine tools and inspection equipment.

Precision rules, squares and angle measuring tools. Moore & Wright precision steel rules are made to BS4372 in lengths from 150 mm to 600 mm, with engineers’ squares in Grade 1 and Grade 2 accuracy for squareness checking and combination sets (rule, square head, protractor and centre head) for general layout and angle measurement. It is the UK-heritage precision rule and square range for toolrooms, fitting shops and apprentice training workshops.
