What We Can Supply

If you work in pharmaceutical manufacturing or food processing, we can supply cleanroom PPE, hygiene-rated workwear, calibrated instruments and specialist maintenance products. Both sectors share a common requirement for contamination control, hygienic design and regulatory compliance, and both operate under strict GMP frameworks. We understand the supply requirements these frameworks create and are happy to work within them.

Cleanroom and controlled environment PPE including cleanroom coveralls (ISO Class 5 to 8), hairnets, beard covers, overshoes, cleanroom gloves and cleanroom safety glasses for pharmaceutical production and controlled environments. DuPont Tyvek covers the disposable cleanroom clothing, the most widely used cleanroom garment in pharmaceutical manufacturing globally, with Kimberly-Clark and Lakeland Industries also available. Garment selection should be matched to the cleanroom classification, and we can advise on the appropriate product for your ISO class.

Food processing workwear and PPE including high-visibility food industry workwear, food-safe gloves, cut-resistant gloves for food preparation environments, bump caps and hearing protection for noisy processing areas. Portwest covers the food industry workwear, with a range that includes HACCP-compliant, high-visibility food industry clothing, and Ansell for food-safe and cut-resistant gloves. Workwear and gloves for food contact environments should comply with EU Regulation 1935/2004 on food contact materials.

Precision measuring instruments including calibrated calipers, micrometers and gauges for tablet dimension inspection, packaging measurement and component quality control. We supply Mitutoyo for precision instruments, widely used in pharmaceutical quality departments and contract manufacturing organisations, with calibration certificates traceable to national standards available on request.

Hygiene-rated maintenance tools including stainless steel and food-safe hand tools for maintenance work in food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, plus food-safe lubricants for machinery in food contact applications. We supply Rocol NSF-approved lubricants for food and pharmaceutical machinery lubrication. NSF H1 approval is required for incidental food contact applications.

Chemical handling PPE including chemical-resistant gloves, aprons and face shields for handling solvents, reagents and cleaning chemicals in pharmaceutical and food processing environments. We supply Ansell and DuPont for chemical protective clothing. The right chemical protection depends on the specific chemicals being handled, so let us know what you’re working with and we can advise on the appropriate protection.
