About Bahco

Bahco’s story begins in Sweden in the latter half of the nineteenth century. The company’s association with the adjustable spanner dates to 1892, when the Swedish inventor Johan Petter Johansson patented a design that would go on to become the most widely produced adjustable wrench in history. The tool spread across the world and is still made today, still in Sweden, and still to a level of precision that most budget alternatives never get near.

The brand is now part of Snap-on Incorporated, operating within the SNA Europe group. That heritage means Bahco tools are held to the standards you would expect from a serious professional tool company. The range runs to several thousand products across virtually every hand tool category, and the engineering throughout reflects more than a century of refinement rather than cost-cutting.

Products We Can Supply from Bahco

Adjustable spanners and wrenches. The 8069 and 8070 series are the most recognised, made in Sweden to dimensional tolerances considerably tighter than most comparable tools on the market. Available in standard chrome finish and in non-sparking versions where ATEX or hazardous area requirements apply.

Hacksaws and blades. Bahco hacksaw frames, including the 319 and 225 series, turn up in engineering workshops, plumbing firms and maintenance teams across the UK. Their PointCut and TriCut blade technologies cut faster and with less deflection than conventional tooth profiles, which adds up over the course of a full working day.

Pliers and cutting tools. Combination pliers, long-nose pliers, side cutters, water pump pliers and wire strippers, all designed with Bahco’s ErgoPlus grip profiles and considerably more comfortable in sustained use than tools that put appearance ahead of function.

Hand saws. Hardpoint and traditional tooth profile hand saws for timber, plastic and general carpentry, including the Ergo and Superior series for professionals who saw regularly.

Torque wrenches. Click-type and beam torque wrenches in a range of drive sizes and torque ranges, calibrated to ISO 6789. Calibration certificates traceable to national standards are available on request where documentation is needed.

Pipe wrenches and plumbing tools. Straight and offset pipe wrenches, chain pipe cutters and specialist pipe working tools for commercial and industrial pipework installation and maintenance.
