About Van Vault

Van Vault is a British manufacturer of secure van storage systems, producing steel under-floor vault drawers, secure storage boxes and van organiser systems for tradespeople who carry valuable tools in vans day to day. The products are designed to tackle two related problems: tool theft from vans, one of the most common crimes affecting UK tradespeople, and the time lost finding tools in disorganised van storage.

Tool theft from vans is a significant and persistent problem for UK tradespeople. A van broken into overnight can mean thousands of pounds in replacement tools and days of lost work while replacements are sourced. Van Vault’s under-floor vault drawers and secure boxes are made from heavy-gauge steel with anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-jemmy security features that make forced entry far harder and slower than with standard van racking, deterring opportunist break-ins by making the effort simply not worth the risk of being caught.

The organiser and drawer systems also tackle the productivity loss from poorly organised van storage. A tradesperson who spends ten minutes a day hunting for tools in a cluttered van loses an hour a week, the equivalent of six working days a year. An organised system where each tool has a defined place, visible from the van door, removes that search time and makes loading and unloading quicker at the start and end of the day.

Products We Can Supply from Van Vault

Vault under-floor security drawers — the Van Vault Slider under-floor security drawer in single and double configurations for fitting beneath the floor of Transit, Sprinter, Vivaro, Trafic, Crafter and other common van platforms, made from 2 mm steel with anti-jemmy edges, anti-drill hardened steel and a 5-lever deadlock, with a central locking option. Available in full-width and half-width formats to suit different van floor configurations.

Secure storage boxes and site boxes — Van Vault portable security boxes in S, M, L and XL sizes for storing tools and valuables in the van, on site or as a workshop security measure; and Van Vault Slim for slimline storage that fits under standard van racking. All come with 5-lever deadlocks and steel shackle hasps, and the portable format means the box can be taken out of the van at the end of the day for overnight storage at home.

Van Vault Organiser and open storage systems — the Van Vault Organiser system of modular drawers, shelves and bins for organising van racking, designed to work alongside or in place of conventional van shelving for a tidier, faster-access tool storage layout. Available in configurations for different van sizes and trade types.

Twin Lid and Stacker secure boxes — the Van Vault Twin Lid, which opens from both sides for access from either side of the van, suited to two-person teams; and Van Vault Stacker configurations for maximising secure storage volume in larger vans and light commercial vehicles. All share the same steel construction and 5-lever deadlock security standard as the core range.
