Our Brands
V12 Footwear.
A British safety footwear manufacturer founded in Sheffield in 1995, producing safety boots and shoes to EN ISO 20345 standards. V12 is known for pairing real safety performance with comfort and design that tradespeople in construction, manufacturing and logistics choose and wear willingly.

About V12 Footwear
V12 Footwear was founded in 1995 in Sheffield, the city long associated with precision manufacturing and quality materials. The company produces safety boots and safety shoes certified to EN ISO 20345 for the UK and European construction, manufacturing and logistics markets, with a focus on footwear that tradespeople find comfortable enough to wear all day, avoiding the discomfort that so often leads to non-compliance with footwear safety requirements.
V12’s product development starts from a simple reality: the best safety boot in the world protects no one if the wearer takes it off because it hurts. The company invests in comfort features such as anatomically contoured insoles, moisture-managing linings, a wider toe box and flexibility in the upper, all of which reduce the strain of wearing safety footwear through long shifts on hard surfaces. That approach has built a strong following in the UK construction and manufacturing trades.
The range includes the widely used Caiman (composite toecap, S3 SRC) and Puma (steel toecap, S1P) lines, alongside specialist footwear for electrical work, food processing and extreme temperature environments. With that breadth of specification, V12 can cover most PPE footwear requirements from a single brand relationship.
Products We Can Supply from V12 Footwear
S3 SRC safety boots — Caiman and Rock series — the V12 Caiman waterproof composite toecap safety boot in a full grain leather upper, with a waterproof membrane, composite toecap, composite midsole and anti-slip outsole to EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC; and the V12 Rock in a steel toecap configuration. Both come with V12’s anatomical insole and moisture-wicking lining for all-day comfort on site, in UK sizes 4–14 in standard widths.
S1P safety boots and shoes — Puma and trainer styles — the V12 Puma in a steel toecap ankle boot format with anti-static properties to S1P for indoor and light outdoor use; and V12 trainer-style safety footwear in S1P specification for logistics, warehousing and light industrial environments where a full construction boot is not required. Both come with the V12 comfort insole as standard.
Wide-fit and specialist options — V12 safety boots in wide-fit (EEE width) for wearers whose feet do not suit standard-width safety footwear, a frequent cause of discomfort and non-compliance; plus V12 specialist ranges including ESD (electrostatic dissipative) footwear for electronics and explosive atmosphere environments, and cold-store boots with extra thermal insulation for refrigerated warehouse work.
V12 Rhino and Oxen heavy-duty ranges — the V12 Rhino in S3 specification with a metatarsal guard for the highest impact risk environments; and the V12 Oxen rigger boot format for plant operators and agricultural workers who prefer a pull-on boot for ease of removal. Both are of waterproof construction with composite safety features for demanding outdoor and construction use.
Industries
V12 safety footwear is used in construction and civil engineering, manufacturing and production, logistics and warehousing, agriculture and plant operation, utilities, and any UK workplace requiring certified EN ISO 20345 safety footwear where comfort, durability and wide-fit options are part of the procurement requirement alongside the protection specification.

Good to Know
If members of your team consistently take their safety boots off or complain about footwear discomfort, the problem is almost always fit: the wrong width, the wrong toe box volume or the wrong last shape for the wearer’s foot. V12’s wide-fit range addresses the most common fit issue. Get in touch with foot width measurements and we can advise on the right V12 specification, because a boot that fits correctly will be worn consistently.
