Ultratape is a British adhesive tapes brand and distributor, producing and sourcing a comprehensive range of tapes for the construction, trade and industrial markets. The range covers the everyday tapes that every building contractor, electrician, plumber and general tradesperson reaches for: masking tape, duct tape, gaffer tape, PVC insulation tape, PTFE thread seal tape, double-sided tape and foam tape, alongside specialist tapes for particular jobs.

Adhesive tapes are consumables that every trade gets through, but most buyers only stop to think about quality when something lets them down. A masking tape that tears on removal, bleeds paint at the edges or leaves residue behind means rework, and a PVC insulation tape that unwinds in the cold or loses its tack in the damp becomes a safety concern. The Ultratape range is produced to quality specifications that answer those practical demands for working tradespeople.

Products We Can Supply from Ultratape

Masking tape and low-tack tape — Ultratape masking tape in standard widths (19 mm, 24 mm and 48 mm) and multi-pack formats for painting and decorating; low-tack masking tape for delicate surfaces such as freshly painted walls, wallpaper and polished finishes; and UV-resistant outdoor masking tape for exterior painting, where standard masking tape would dry out and fail in sunlight. Trade multipacks are available for volume use.

Duct tape and gaffer tape — Ultratape duct tape (cloth-reinforced, with an aggressive adhesive) in silver and black for repairs, bundling, sealing and other heavy-duty jobs; and Ultratape professional gaffer tape in matt black for event, AV and stage work, where a non-reflective finish matters. Both come in a standard 50 mm width and in 75 mm heavy-duty formats for the most demanding applications.

PVC insulation tape and PTFE tape — Ultratape PVC electrical insulation tape in black, red, blue, yellow, green/yellow and other colours to BS EN 60454 for electrical insulation and phase identification, in 19 mm × 20 m rolls and trade dispenser packs; and Ultratape PTFE thread seal tape in standard grades (12 mm and 19 mm × 12 m) and an extra-thick heavy-duty grade for sealing threaded plumbing connections.

Double-sided and foam tapes — Ultratape double-sided tape in tissue and film carrier formats for bonding lightweight materials, joining carpet, mounting displays and general fixing without mechanical fasteners; and Ultratape foam tape in closed-cell PE foam for gap sealing, draught exclusion, vibration damping and thermal insulation at joints and interfaces in construction and manufacturing.
