Soudal NV was founded in 1966 in Turnhout, Belgium, and has grown into Europe’s largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and foams for the professional construction and DIY market. The company is privately owned and still headquartered in Belgium, with manufacturing across Europe and distribution in more than 130 countries.

Soudal’s Fix ALL range of hybrid polymer adhesive-sealants has become one of the most widely used construction adhesive products in the UK and European market. Fix ALL combines bonding, sealing and flexible movement capability in a single hybrid polymer product, available in a range of grades for different substrates and performance requirements. Its success comes down to a real product innovation: hybrid polymers bridge the gap between structural adhesives, which are strong but rigid, and flexible sealants, which tolerate movement and weather but do not bond structurally, something neither category could manage on its own.

Soudal’s PU foam range, including Soudafoam Window & Door, Soudafoam FR and the professional gun foam range, is used extensively in UK construction for fixing and sealing window and door frames, filling voids in masonry and blockwork, and providing fire-rated sealing at penetrations. The breadth and quality of the range have made it a standard fixture in UK builders’ merchant stocks.

Products We Can Supply from Soudal

Fix ALL hybrid adhesive-sealants. Soudal Fix ALL Classic for general bonding and sealing on most building substrates; Fix ALL Flexi with increased flexibility for movement joints and applications subject to vibration; Fix ALL High Tack for vertical and overhead bonding without temporary support; and Fix ALL Crystal clear hybrid adhesive for transparent applications on glass and polycarbonate. All are paintable, waterproof, UV-stable and solvent-free.

PU expanding foams. Soudafoam Window & Door low-expansion foam for filling gaps around window and door frames without distorting the frame; Soudafoam FR B1 fire-rated foam for sealing pipe and cable penetrations through fire compartment elements; Soudafoam Gun professional gun foam for use with foam applicator guns for controlled application and minimal waste; and standard hand-can foam in B2 and B3 fire classifications for general construction filling.

Silicone sealants. Soudal silicone sealants in sanitary (anti-mould), neutral, acetoxy and structural grades for bathroom, kitchen, glazing and façade applications, in standard colours and specialty colours for matching specific tile and surface shades, plus Soudal LMN neutral silicone for sealing aluminium, UPVC and sensitive metal substrates where acetoxy silicone would cause corrosion.

Construction adhesives and specialty products. Soudabond construction contact adhesives for bonding laminates, rubber, cork and flooring materials; Soudal T-Rex Power Grab adhesive for heavy structural bonding; and Soudal Genius Gun and Soudaseal 250FC for professional structural bonding and sealing in façade and curtain walling applications.
