About Ox Tools

OX Group Ltd is a UK tool and site equipment company behind the OX brand range of hand tools, measuring tools, cutting accessories and site equipment for professional tradespeople in construction and building. The OX range covers the tools and consumables that bricklayers, blocklayers, carpenters, groundworkers and general builders rely on day to day, from spirit levels, tapes, bolsters, chisels and mallets through to diamond blades, SDS bits and related site equipment.

The range is split into two tiers. The OX Trade range covers everyday professional use at accessible pricing, while the OX Pro range steps up for the most demanding work where higher specification, heavier construction or better accuracy is needed. That two-tier approach lets a building team stock OX Trade for the bulk of its tool requirements and OX Pro for the specific jobs where the premium specification earns its keep.

The OX spirit level range, in lengths from 400 mm to 1,800 mm, is one of the most used OX products on UK construction sites. Accuracy and durability matter a great deal to bricklayers and blocklayers laying hundreds of courses a week, who need their levels to hold both their calibration and their physical integrity in site conditions. The OX Pro levels use I-beam aluminium profiles and accuracy-ground vials that keep their calibration even when the level is knocked or dropped during normal use.

Spirit levels (OX Trade and OX Pro) — OX Trade aluminium spirit levels come in 400 mm, 600 mm, 900 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,800 mm lengths for general site levelling, while the OX Pro I-beam levels pair accuracy-ground vials with reinforced I-beam profiles for bricklaying and blocklaying that demands sustained accuracy under working conditions. OX digital levels and line levels cover specialist levelling jobs, and levels are available with and without magnetic strips for metalwork and steel fixing.

Brick bolsters, chisels and masonry tools — OX Trade and OX Pro brick bolsters in the standard 100 mm width with hand guard, cold chisels in round and hexagonal shank formats, plugging chisels for raking out pointing, and floor bolsters for breaking out screeds and slabs. All are made from hardened and tempered tool steel with safety hand guards. OX rubber mallets are also available in standard and club head formats, in weights from 680 g to 1,350 g, for bricklaying, tile cutting and general site striking.

Tape measures and site measuring — OX Trade and OX Pro tape measures in 5 m, 7.5 m and 10 m lengths with magnetic and non-magnetic end hooks, in wide blade and narrow blade configurations, along with OX chalk line reels for marking long straight lines on floors, walls and formwork. These are used daily across all building trades for setting out, measuring and marking.

Diamond blades and SDS drill bits — OX diamond blades in 115 mm and 125 mm formats for cutting concrete, masonry and tiles on angle grinders, and OX SDS-plus masonry drill bits for drilling concrete and block with SDS rotary hammers. Groundworkers, bricklayers and general builders use these for cutting and drilling hard building materials on site alongside their hand tool kit.
