About Jackson Safety

Jackson Safety is a brand within Kimberly-Clark Professional, the industrial safety division of Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Its range concentrates on eye and face protection for welding and industrial work, covering welding helmets, face shields, safety glasses and hard hats for people in fabrication, construction and manufacturing, where sparks, UV and IR radiation, flying debris and chemical splash are daily risks.

The auto-darkening welding helmet is the most important part of the range. It darkens the lens automatically the moment an arc is struck, so the welder can line up the work with the helmet already down rather than flipping it up between welds. That saves the time lost to raising and repositioning the helmet, and it cuts the risk of a flash from striking an arc while the helmet is still being adjusted. Jackson Safety covers everything from entry-level helmets to professional variable-shade models.

Face shields work alongside the welding helmets for grinding and cutting, where full-face protection from flying debris matters but the optical filtering of a welding lens is not needed. They are also used in chemical handling, food processing and any job that calls for face protection on top of, or instead of, safety glasses.

Auto-darkening welding helmets. The Jackson Safety BH3 and W40 series offer variable shade from DIN 9 to DIN 13 for MIG, MMA, TIG and plasma arc welding. The solar-cell and battery-powered cartridges have switching times suited to professional use, and helmets come in standard head-turn and ratchet headgear configurations. The W40 series adds a grind mode that switches the lens clear for grinding between welds without taking the helmet off.

Fixed-shade welding helmets and goggles. For MMA (stick) welding where auto-darkening is not needed or not in the budget, there are traditional fixed-shade DIN 10 and DIN 11 passive helmets, along with welding goggles and hand shields for light welding, gas welding and brazing. The passive helmets come in a range of shell colours and headgear configurations.

Face shields and visors. Jackson Safety propionate, polycarbonate and wire mesh face shields handle grinding, chipping, chemical splash and general industrial face protection. They are available on ratchet headgear and in cap-mounted and helmet-mounted configurations, and are used across metalworking, construction, food processing, chemical handling and anywhere full-face protection is needed in addition to eye protection.

Safety glasses and eye protection. The Jackson Safety Nemesis, Wiley X and related safety spectacle ranges use polycarbonate lenses with anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings. Clear, tinted and indoor/outdoor tints suit different lighting, and wraparound styles give maximum side protection in grinding, chipping and dusty environments.
