About Hultafors

Hultafors was founded in 1883 in the town of Hultafors in Västra Götaland, Sweden. The company started out making folding rules, the wooden carpenter’s folding measure, and the Hultafors folding rule went on to become the standard measuring tool for Swedish craftspeople for over a century. The brand’s identity rests on the idea that hand tools for professionals should be made to professional standards: precise, durable and built to work correctly through a long working life rather than treated as consumables to be replaced often.

The Hultafors folding rule range includes the Talmeter, which carries a measurement-taking scale on one face so the user can mark and transfer measurements directly without calculation.
