Forgefix.
A British fastener and fixings brand that has earned a strong position in the UK building and construction trades supply market. Forgefix produces a comprehensive range of screws, nails, bolts, anchors and fixings that cover the standard fastening needs of most construction and joinery work.

About Forgefix
Forgefix is a British fastener brand that has built a solid reputation in the UK trade and construction market by supplying a practical, well-organised range of fasteners and fixings at pricing that works for professional tradespeople and building contractors. The company concentrates on the fasteners that building and joinery trades reach for on every job, including wood screws, chipboard screws, drywall screws, decking screws, bolts, nuts, washers, nails and structural fixings, packaged in trade quantities that reflect how professionals actually buy them.
The way Forgefix packages and organises its range for the trade is one of the things professional buyers appreciate. Fasteners supplied in clearly labelled trade tubs and boxes in sensible quantities cut down the time spent managing stock and finding the right fastener for each job, which is a small but real saving in any busy construction operation. The ForgePackager system in particular offers a comprehensive range of screws and fixings in standardised packaging that keeps stock management simple for trade counters and merchants.
Forgefix products cover most of the fastener types that building and joinery trades specify by size, thread form and coating rather than by brand. An M8 coach bolt is an M8 coach bolt, so the make matters less than the specification, and the value in Forgefix lies in having the right specification on hand in the right quantity, at competitive pricing and with dependable quality.
Products We Can Supply from Forgefix
Wood screws and multipurpose screws. Forgefix MultiScrew and TorxPro screws come in zinc, galvanised and stainless steel finishes for general timber joinery, structural fixings and external applications. They are available in countersunk, pan head and wafer head configurations and in lengths from 16 mm to 200 mm. The MultiScrew design, with its partial thread and optimised point geometry, suits most timber and sheet material fixing without pre-drilling in the majority of cases.
Drywall and chipboard screws. Forgefix drywall screws come in coarse and fine thread for fixing plasterboard to timber and metal framing, alongside chipboard screws for sheet material and furniture assembly. Both are high-volume consumables on any building or fit-out site, and Forgefix supply them in trade box and tub quantities suited to professional use. Self-drilling drywall screws (HiLo thread) are also available for metal stud framing without pre-drilling.
Decking screws and exterior fixings. Forgefix DecaScrew stainless steel and hot-dip galvanised decking screws are made for timber decking installation, joined by joist hanger nails and exterior fixings for fencing, cladding and landscaping where corrosion resistance matters. The stainless steel range suits hardwood decking and coastal environments where galvanised screws corrode prematurely.
Bolts, nuts, washers and coach screws. Metric coach bolts, hex bolts, set screws, nuts, washers and coach screws come in zinc plated and galvanised finishes for structural and general construction fixing. They are available in individual packets and trade boxes across standard metric sizes M5 through M16 in the most commonly specified lengths.
Industries
Forgefix fasteners are used in general building and construction, joinery and carpentry, timber frame construction, drywall and partitioning, decking and landscaping, roofing and cladding, kitchen and bedroom fitting, shopfitting and commercial interior fit-out, and any building trade that gets through standard fasteners as a daily consumable.

Good to Know
Screw coating specification matters for exterior work, because standard zinc-plated screws corrode within months in exposed outdoor conditions. For decking, fencing and external cladding in most UK settings, hot-dip galvanised or A2 stainless steel is the minimum sensible specification. For hardwood or near-coastal use, A4 stainless is better still. If you are specifying for an exterior project, get in touch and we’ll confirm the right Forgefix product for the exposure level.
