Enerpac traces its origins to 1910 and has traded under the Enerpac name for decades as a specialist manufacturer of industrial hydraulic tooling and high-force equipment. The Enerpac range tackles a particular class of industrial problem: what to do when the forces needed to lift, push, pull, align or torque a component go well beyond what people and conventional mechanical tools can safely provide. A bridge section being lifted into position, a flanged joint being made up across hundreds of bolts to a set tension, a heavy vessel being jacked into alignment during commissioning, or a turbine rotor being drawn out of its casing are all jobs where Enerpac hydraulic tooling is the practical answer. The forces involved can run to hundreds or thousands of tonnes.

The RC series hydraulic cylinders, single-acting and spring-return, in capacities from 5 tonnes to 1,000 tonnes, sit at the core of the range and are among the most widely used hydraulic cylinders in UK industry. Paired with Enerpac P-series hand pumps or ZE/ZU series electric and air-hydraulic pumps, they form the basis of portable high-force tooling systems that can be set up anywhere on a plant or construction site without permanent hydraulic infrastructure.

Hydraulic cylinders include the RC series single-acting cylinders in capacities from 5 to 150 tonnes in the standard range, with larger capacities in specialist configurations. There are also RSM low-height pancake cylinders for tight spaces, RCH hollow-plunger cylinders for pull applications or through-bolt tensioning, and double-acting cylinders where powered retraction is needed. The right configuration depends on the load path, the available working height and whether you need a return stroke.

Hydraulic pumps range from P-series two-speed hand pumps for portable work where there is no electricity or compressed air, to ZE series electric hydraulic pumps for sustained operations that need repeated actuation, and ZU series air-hydraulic pumps for compressed-air operation. All generate the 700 bar (10,000 psi) standard working pressure of the Enerpac system, which keeps them compatible across the cylinder and tool range.

Hydraulic torque wrenches include the S-series square drive and W-series low-profile hexagonal cassette wrenches for high-torque bolting in flange assembly, structural connections and heavy equipment installation. Hydraulic torque tools apply consistent, accurate torque well beyond the range of manual or pneumatic wrenches, and they do it in a repeatable, controlled way that is essential for the safety-critical flange joints found in pressure vessels and pipework.

Hydraulic lifting systems and synchronous lift cover multi-point lifting systems built from matched cylinders and pumps for lifts that need controlled load distribution, along with the Enerpac SL and MLP synchronous lift systems for precision multi-point lifting of heavy equipment, structures and vessels to sub-millimetre positional accuracy.
