Delta Plus Group was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Gap, in the French Alps. What began as a relatively modest PPE distribution business has grown, through organic development and a steady programme of acquisitions, into one of Europe’s largest specialist PPE manufacturers and distributors. The group now operates in more than 90 countries and offers a range that covers every major category of personal protective equipment required under European workplace health and safety legislation.

The group’s strategy has been to build a portfolio of specialist PPE brands rather than a single manufacturer identity. It has acquired established producers in safety footwear, fall protection, chemical protection, cut-resistant gloves and other categories, and kept their brand identities within the group. That approach gives the Delta Plus range a depth of specialist expertise in individual PPE categories that is hard to match with a single generalist manufacturing approach.

Products We Can Supply from Delta Plus

Head protection includes safety helmets and hard hats to EN 397 in standard and vented configurations, in multiple colours for site role identification. The range also covers bump caps for environments where the hazard is low-energy impact rather than falling objects, and climbing helmets to EN 12492 for working at height where a chin strap is required.

Safety gloves are one of the strongest parts of the Delta Plus range. They cover cut-resistant gloves to EN 388 in levels A to F, heat-resistant gloves to EN 407, chemical-resistant gloves to EN 374, anti-vibration gloves to EN ISO 10819, and general mechanical risk gloves across a wide range of performance levels and materials. The VV900 and VENICUT series cut-resistant gloves are widely used in UK manufacturing and engineering.

Fall protection covers full body harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines and fall arrest systems to EN 361 and EN 355. Safety footwear, eye and hearing protection covers safety footwear to EN ISO 20345 in S1P, S3 and specialist configurations, safety glasses and goggles to EN 166, and ear defenders and ear plugs to EN 352 across a range of SNR values.
