About Delta Plus
Delta Plus Group was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Gap, in the French Alps. What began as a relatively modest PPE distribution business has grown, through organic development and a steady programme of acquisitions, into one of Europe’s largest specialist PPE manufacturers and distributors. The group now operates in more than 90 countries and offers a range that covers every major category of personal protective equipment required under European workplace health and safety legislation.
The group’s strategy has been to build a portfolio of specialist PPE brands rather than a single manufacturer identity. It has acquired established producers in safety footwear, fall protection, chemical protection, cut-resistant gloves and other categories, and kept their brand identities within the group. That approach gives the Delta Plus range a depth of specialist expertise in individual PPE categories that is hard to match with a single generalist manufacturing approach.
For UK PPE buyers, Delta Plus offers a practical way to source a broad range of compliant PPE across multiple categories from one supplier. The range is tested and certified to the EU PPE Regulation (2016/425) and the relevant EN standards for each product type, and the technical documentation needed for PPE compliance programmes is available across the range. Covering everything from hard hats to safety harnesses to cut-resistant gloves and hearing protection within a single supplier relationship makes procurement simpler for organisations with complex multi-hazard PPE requirements.
Products We Can Supply from Delta Plus
Head protection includes safety helmets and hard hats to EN 397 in standard and vented configurations, in multiple colours for site role identification. The range also covers bump caps for environments where the hazard is low-energy impact rather than falling objects, and climbing helmets to EN 12492 for working at height where a chin strap is required.
Safety gloves are one of the strongest parts of the Delta Plus range. They cover cut-resistant gloves to EN 388 in levels A to F, heat-resistant gloves to EN 407, chemical-resistant gloves to EN 374, anti-vibration gloves to EN ISO 10819, and general mechanical risk gloves across a wide range of performance levels and materials. The VV900 and VENICUT series cut-resistant gloves are widely used in UK manufacturing and engineering.
Fall protection covers full body harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines and fall arrest systems to EN 361 and EN 355. Delta Plus fall protection is used in construction, roofing, tower and mast work, industrial maintenance and any application where a fall from height risk calls for active personal fall arrest rather than collective protection. The range runs from simple single-connection systems to complex multi-anchor rescue-capable configurations.
Safety footwear, eye and hearing protection covers safety footwear to EN ISO 20345 in S1P, S3 and specialist configurations, safety glasses and goggles to EN 166, and ear defenders and ear plugs to EN 352 across a range of SNR values. With this breadth across three categories, it is practical to specify a Delta Plus PPE package across multiple hazard types from a single manufacturer.

Delta Plus PPE is used in construction, civil engineering, manufacturing and engineering, oil and gas, chemical processing, utilities, rail, logistics and warehousing, food production, forestry and arboriculture, and across any industry where workplace risk assessments identify the need for compliant personal protective equipment across multiple hazard categories.
