Bessey Tools GmbH & Co. KG traces its manufacturing roots to 1889 in Tuttlingen, in the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany, an area with a long tradition of precision metalworking and tool manufacture. The company has specialised in clamping tools throughout its history and has developed what is now the most comprehensive and technically advanced range of professional clamps available from any single manufacturer in the world.

The name Bessey is effectively shorthand for professional clamping, much as Hoover became shorthand for vacuum cleaners. F-clamps and sliding bar clamps. The KR and GH series F-clamps are the core of the professional range, with a fixed anvil jaw and a sliding shoe that travels the full length of the bar. Available in jaw openings from 100 mm to 1200 mm and depths of reach from 60 mm to 200 mm. The KRE and KRRE series add a rotating spindle end for even clamping force on irregular or angled surfaces. G-clamps. GZ and GH series steel G-clamps for direct work-holding and assembly tasks.
